“Please forgive me, great warlock. We’ll do anything you want. Just please, don’t destroy our village.”
The three archers, upon seeing their village chief trying to take responsibility for what they did, quickly bowed to apologize to Arias as well. Several other mages also started bowing their heads to beg for Arias and Olivia to spare the three of them.
“Alright, alright, that’s enough. Stop bowing to me. I was ordered by the king to deal with the demon, not to kill anyone or destroy any village.”
Before things could get out of hand, Arias spoke to stop the three from doing what they were doing. While Olivia was giggling, seeming not at all bothered, Arias let out a weary sigh.
“The king sends you here? ...Thank you to His Majesty for having mercy on our village.”
