Chapter 239: The Weak Little Faerie

There was nothing inside the prison carriage aside from lifeless bodies and the smell of blood. Every prisoner had been murdered. This mass murder was not a puzzle you needed to wrack your brain trying to solve. Everyone knew there was only one person who wanted to silence these prisoners.

“Your Grace, all of them are dead. This has to be Viscount Stoker’s doing. Do you want me to go after him?”

After he was done checking that every one of the prisoners was really dead, Alan turned to glance in the direction that Viscount Stoker just disappeared. ‘If I hurry and go after Viscount Stoker now, I might still be able to catch up with him.’ He thought to himself.

“There’s no point trying to force the truth out of Stoker. I know quite a bit about what the viscount is like. There’s no way someone like him would admit guilt. It’s our fault for being careless and getting fooled by his plan.”
