Haymie was not intimidated in the slightest by how enraged Farhan was. If anything, she seemed to enjoy seeing him like this. Everything worked as she had planned, not a single detail was missed. Her job here was to weaken Bernier City’s power, and it seemed like she was doing it quite well.

“Tsk tsk tsk. Did I really? Aren’t you the one who killed him? After all, it was your power that ripped your son’s body into two, hee hee hee.”

She put an index finger on her lips and smiled cunningly. She looked at Farhan as if she was looking at a wolf trapped in a cage and unable to bite anyone. The more she provoked that wolf, the more feral it would become. No one noticed Haymie quickly casting a spell with one of her hands. All of a sudden, Farhan’s eyes became clouded.
