Chapter 82: Allies

In the dark of the night, the fight finally came to an end. The signs of its occurrence were still left behind. The stench of blood filled the air of the battleground which was littered with the flamed-foot wolves’ dead bodies.

In a life-or-death battle, whether your opponent was a beast or a human, only the strong would be able to survive. Arias pulled his Shadow Demon Sword out of the flamed-foot wolf’s lifeless body. Dark red blood was still oozing out of its wound without seeming to stop.

The sight of Arias standing amidst the corpses of the beasts was like that of a knight who had defeated a vicious enemy. His hand was holding the Shadow Demon Sword that was drenched with blood. Strangely, it seemed to be absorbing the blood slowly until there was no trace of it left.
