Chapter 24: The storm.....
We have being cutting through the scavengers for sometime now as I was honestly getting tired of constantly running into them and have to end up with dead ends or are forced to find other routes because of them.
I looked at Sunny who is going to fight another 2 scavengers and nep was there to help him he learns fast well we are fighting only one type of creature right now and I buff them and stand back with cassia right now she is like a kitten but she will carry the heaviest burden in all of us.
Sunny went ahead and jumped and put his sword in one of the legs and cut it off and now the scavenger was tilting to one side so he jumped on the pincer and plunged his sword into the neck of the scavenger and just like that we finish with this Bach of the scavengers I even put some of the mini bosses ahead to kill this suckers before they go to us but it was still taking some time.
sunny went to work pulled out the soul shards from the scavenger and now he was looking at it and finally he talked to nephis" Hey Nephis why don't I make you an offer that , till now and until we are in the dream realm I will give you all my soul shards if you teach me how to fight" sunny was looking hopefully at nephis and her answer was also simple she agreed to it.
Sunny looked happy and asked "so when are we starting this training"
Nep was just as awkward " Right now
"Wait what do you mean right now " I looked and sunny and I chimed in to.
"Well if you guys are going to train count me in this to as you are already taking the soul shard I could carry and sell if we get out" I think I did not even have to say it but they are mostly alive and have soul shard because of me so it was not even a question and I still had things to learn from nephis.
So just like that our training started it was noting to crazy as our goal was still to survive and in the end sunny got an echo of a scavenger well it was good really as it acted as transport tool and our storage for now it improved our speed by a large margine because now we can just let cassia sit on it and she can finally keep up.
So just like that an day went by and we are on the road again not really just wet soil again and it's looks like today is going rain or a storm so we are really going as fast as but it was already raining and the water was rising we really had to run and cut through many of the creatures so I took the roal of shield and Blasted fast as soon as possible.
We run as the water was almost above the knees the only one who was dry was cassia
As she was on the echo and we are trying to save our lives and it sucks I can take care of tyrants but not natural Disasters.
just as the water came up to our knees we finally found a hill high enough I tied Everyone
To myself with the golden rope and started climbing with all my power for the first time and I was on top in no time and we all sat down in the rain wet and gross and as we where thinking of setting up a camp sunny told us to stop what we where doing and I asked him what was wrong.
"Don't move i think we are not alone on this platform my shadow found other monsters there are atleast 7 of them here what should we do" I looked at sunny like he was an ideot what does he think we have to do when there are monsters on the platform and Dark sea all around
"What else to do let's go and make short work of them" we go and check on our monsters and in the end they turned out Dead well now this was great but who killed them well I know so I followed the traces and looked Down from the clif there he was the monster an awakened one.
I looked at it and made my plan it was simple I will poke it out hurt it and Nep will finish it off or even sunny as that will work fastest and if i am not wrong it suppose to Drop the star light legion Armor which the perivous heros of the forgotten shore wore and I will give it to nephis as she is wearing a light Armor with low Defence just an cloth from some noble.
I made a hand motion and showed them the monster it was carapace centurion it was no scavenger it was covered in red Armor and instead of pincers it was syths basterd was huge to well if I really tried I can take care of him but I want to give my army some experience to.
I talked in wisper" We will kill that basterd if we want to stay on this platform it's just an awakened monster I can probably take care of it myself but I want you 2 to also have some experience so you will the one finishing the work" I can tell only Sunny was a little scared so I activited my power so they will be completely ready and as powerful as they can be it might still turn Deadly.
So I did the first attack i lured that monster on the platform it has Armor covering it from all its sides but even still it has to move so there was gaps in his Armor so I Begane my first attack and it was fastest I could manage and it was really fast so before anyone could even move one of its leg was gone and just like that sunny and nephis joined the fray both 4x there normal power and it turned into a slaughter fest and in the end he was dead by Sunny's hand.
It irritating that Sunny was the open to kill it even tho I gave nep so many chances and I think fate was messing around but well it does not matter the stronger i get as time goes on forget fate nothing can challenge me just need to keep grinding.
and just like in the novel sunny got the star light legion Armor and he gifted it to nephis now she was wearing it she looked like an general or a hero well this is how it goes
