Chapter 180: Not as Easy

I wasn't given an option, my husband hadn't given me an option. 

"Are you okay?" Donavan asked as we searched the stadium for our seats.

It seemed that the grandfathers worked quite fast. They had seating arrangements ready, there were ushers everywhere and everything was organized.

Today marked the first time that the employees of the Durfort and Harris Families were actually together.

Assembled in the stadium were thousands of employees who reaped the benefits of how we've grown and maintained our companies. 

"There are so many people," I managed to say.

I'd seen the figures.

I'd studied it so closely the past few months, I thought carefully about how to maximize the vast talent and resources we had in our hands, but this was different.

Seeing the numbers was a far cry from actually seeing he sea of people in one place was a vast difference.
