Hospital Visit

'Why did you go to the hospital? Are you sick?' Alexander messaged.

I bit my lower lip and wondered if I should tell him the truth or not.

After a few moments of debating with myself, I decided not to get his hopes up. I've been delayed before, and I'm not experiencing any morning sicknesses. 

'Just a routine check-up, plus I need to get an update on my pills.' I replied.

It was true that I was going for a check-up and if the tests went the way I wanted them to then I'd be getting an update on my pills.

Arriving at the hospital, I took a deep breath and placed on my cap and glasses. 

I might not be recognized by people, but the moment I mentioned my name people would probably try to get a look at me.

"You know, you didn't have to do this alone," a familiar voice said as she gave me a nudge.

I looked up to find Cassandra smiling at me.
