"Lilith I just want to go home," Lex grumbled as his car sped through the city, taking us back to the office.
"No, Lex, I still have to work," I scolded my cousin.
"All we do these days is work." He pouted like a spoiled child, making me laugh.
One thing that Lexington Drufort was not used to was someone telling him no. Taking into account how my cousin looked and how rich he was, I doubted that women rarely refused him either.
"Well I have three years to catch up and you have to help me catch up on those three years," I pointed out. "I'll pay for coffee and dinner."
"Fine," he eventually sighed as he looked out of the window.
By the time we got back to the office, most of the employees had already called it a day, but I wanted to be careful.
