Chapter 36: Good Night

"Mi Amor," I whispered into Lilith's ear as I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close.

"Alexander," she gasped as I ran my lips along her neck, looking up, making sure that everyone could see that she was mine.

I spotted a familiar face that made my blood boil in the crowd, her ex. 

I couldn't even call him her ex-husband, the marriage had never been valid, so I'll settle for calling him her ex.

"I see that everyone seems to want a piece of you tonight," I said in a low voice. "But the thing is I want the whole of you."

Turning her to face me, I didn't think, I didn't have to. Nothing felt more natural than this, having her in my arms, holding her close.

As I lowered my head she gasped at the realization of what I planned to do. I, of course, took advantage of this convenience and pressed my lips on her soft and supple ones. 

"Delicious," I whispered when I finally let her go.
