Chapter 53: The Right Soul

Levi had Bloodthorne on his hand, the blade was completely out and ready to drink some blood. He was facing Ryan, who also had his sword out.

They were under a beautiful moon and a sky clustered with stars and stardust. The winds howled with the quiet of the night only disturbed by the songs of crickets.

Ryan was a big man, so he wasn't very fast. Speed was Levi's only saving grace. He ran circles around him, but Ryan's senses were insanely on par with his speed.

Levi arrived at the man's rear ready to pierce his neck only for the attack to be parried accompanied by a punch in the gut.

He could feel his ribs crack under the sheer force of the punch. The gap between the gates was truly great, he could only keep up because he was something else entirely.

His body healed pretty fast as long as the injury wasn't too great. Levi moved even faster to cut the man in front of him, but bloodthorne was met with Ryan's own sword.
