Chapter 121: Chapter 121: The Bishop Begins to Unravel (Edited)

York picked an eyebrow, looking at the nun who seemed vaguely familiar, also subconsciously recalling the help Erin had provided along the way.

"Very well, she has been quite helpful on this journey," York said with a gentle smile.

"Strong and brave, exactly what we need in a deaconess at the Pluto Church."

Having said this, he walked towards Xavier, who had stopped and was waiting, leaving Sister Tracey behind, proud and happy for Erin…

York did not see Sister Tracey's expression and said to the waiting Xavier, "Let's continue."

"Okay, Father," Xavier replied, glancing in that direction before continuing to lead the way.

...

The events at Saint Cata Monastery were significant to those in the know.

Even without the suicide of the nun, the loosening of the sealing circle of the gates of hell and the leakage of demonic powers were enough to warrant the attention of bishops.

Thus, Bishop Rovshan's concern was understandable.

He also wanted to take this opportunity to report the situation at Saint Cata Monastery.

Following Brother Xavier, York arrived at a lavish corridor, passed through several well-decorated doors, and finally stopped in front of a door that was even larger and more luxurious.

Xavier stopped, bowed slightly, and gestured respectfully, "Father York, Bishop Rovshan is waiting for you inside."

York responded and pushed open the grand doors in front of him.

As the doors swung open, everything inside was laid bare before York's eyes.

It was the grand altar hall inside a church.

The high dome was resplendent with starlight, adding a sacred and solemn atmosphere to the entire space. Sunlight filtered through stained glass windows, casting a soft glow over the benches and all the artfully decorated artifacts, surrounded by paintings and murals.

Seeing this scene, York thought it was truly magnificent, far more so than his humble abode, thinking that even the exquisite murals could amaze some artists.

Indeed, was this the grandeur expected of the Lutheran Cathedral, under the jurisdiction of the Archbishop?

York looked at the elderly man sitting in front of the silver-gray altar, praying with his eyes closed, and walked over slowly.

"Bishop Rovshan."

The elderly man with speckled hair, interspersed with strands of black, slowly opened his eyes to look at the young priest sitting on the left bench.

"York, is it done?"

Taking this opportunity, York, intending to complete his daily task, looked up at the image of Jesus and nodded.

"Saint Cata Monastery no longer exists."

This statement, ambiguous as it was, made Bishop Rovshan pause and ask, "What do you mean?"

York, recalling the huge mushroom cloud, smirked, "Literally, Bishop Rovshan."

Hearing this, Bishop Rovshan, realizing this young priest was the church's most troublesome priest, known for causing issues—forget past incidents, recently he had reportedly blown up a building.

Bishop Rovshan's expression became hesitant.

"York, have you gotten into some other trouble?"

"No, not at all," York stated righteously and sincerely. "Bishop Rovshan, I have been dutifully completing my tasks."

Bishop Rovshan was unconvinced.

"So?"

York began to pray with clasped hands and closed eyes, ready to complete his daily task.

"So, I utterly destroyed Saint Cata Monastery, leaving no trace behind, for it was no longer holy and needed not remain."

This clear statement made Bishop Rovshan's face stiffen, his eyes slightly widening in clarity.

"You...!"

Bishop Rovshan, looking at York praying with his eyes closed, wanted to say something but ended up with a bitter smile, "I knew it, giving you a helicopter would definitely lead to some incident. I didn't expect that even after removing the missiles, I still couldn't prevent you!"

"Cough!"

York, still praying, couldn't help but cough dryly.

"Bishop Rovshan, you are the principal here. Please convey to His Highness that I really didn't do much."

Hearing this, Bishop Rovshan felt a headache coming on, covering his forehead, not answering directly but muttering to himself, "No, I need to send someone to Saint Cata Monastery to see what mess you've made this time."

Saying so, Bishop Rovshan couldn't help but glare at York, who seemed uninvolved and carefree, and left the hall.

As footsteps echoed, York opened his eyes, glanced at the hurriedly departing figure, and sighed, "If the gates of hell could be destroyed, you should be more than happy…"

York shook his head, not particularly concerned, and continued to pray.

"Lord,"

"I have something to say to you…"

"With the holy blood you left behind, I experienced a new world, where everything under those eyes seemed insignificant…"

"I used this power to bless your followers, destroyed the gates of hell, eradicated the unholy land…"

"If you can hear my plea, I hope for another chance like this…"

"…"

As he spoke, York inadvertently shared many things, and as he finished, he heard the task completion notification.

[Prayer: Church Prayer (Completed)] [Reward: +0.5 points awarded] "Amen!"

After concluding, York calmly added the newly acquired 0.5 attribute points to his spirit, rounding off the number.

[Points Added Successfully] [Spirit increased from 130.5 to 131]

"That's better."

York looked up at the unchanging image of Jesus, stretched comfortably, and mused, "Such opportunities are rare," as he slowly left the grand and luxurious hall…

Meanwhile,

Following Bishop Rovshan's orders, the entire Lutheran Cathedral was in a bit of a frenzy. Led by Brother Esas, a squad of knights boarded the recently returned HH60W helicopter in the backyard, heading back to Saint Cata Monastery for investigation.

Appearing at the window, Bishop Rovshan, watching the helicopter grow distant and disappear like an ant, muttered, "This boy is consistently a headache."

Recalling York's past deeds and their recent conversation, his face twitched slightly, his composure beginning to falter…

"Big brothers and sisters, I'm feeling deflated again, sigh."
