The next day, while the sky was still dim and the air crisp, Talon made time for a quick workout before starting his day. The morning was quiet, the camp still shrouded in the soft light of dawn.

Today, they had planned to follow the trail of footprints they had discovered the night before. The mysterious tracks had piqued their curiosity, and they were determined to uncover the truth behind them. 

After finishing his exercises, Talon headed back to his tent. As he approached, he noticed someone walking toward him. It was John, he had once given him a guitar and Talon had saved his life when he nearly drowned.

"Hey, Talon," John greeted.

Talon paused, wiping the sweat from his brow as he turned to face John. "Hi, John," he replied.

"Talon, there's something I need to talk to you about," John began. "It's about our clean water supply."

Talon nodded, "sure, let's talk," he said, motioning for them to sit down on a large, weathered log nearby.
