"We should send Sam, they're sneakier than all of us combined," Noir suggested.

Sam nodded their head, but Kir raised a hand. They'd been arguing about how to retrieve Stella for ten minutes. "I'm the one that needs to go. She's my familiar, and I'm the best suited to find her. At the very least I could try calling her with our bond."

The latter would be quite painful, but at least it would be silent.

"Best cast scenario, I sneak close enough to call her and nobody even notices," Kir smiled reassuringly.

"And worst case?" Caroon crossed his arms.

"Worst case is the camp catches fire and I need rescuing," Kir answered. "Look, I know they're probably all aware we've left by now, but I can do this. I'm not helpless without my magic."

Caroon snorted, "That much we know."

"How are you going to find us after?" Namosa asked.
