India, Mumbai...
In the Velocity club, where everyone is having a good time, some dancing with the opposite gender and some trying to impress the pretty bartenders, most people—Mainly girls were looking in a certain direction.
"He is so handsome... I think he is a celebrity."
"Oh, look at those broad shoulders! I wish my boyfriend had a frame like that."
"I think I have seen him somewhere..."
"Should I try my luck tonight? Kyaa~ I can imagine "
"Shh.. you just came so shut up.. the last girl who approached him got so harshly rejected that she literally started crying, can't you see how no one dares to approach him?"
Hushed voices fell on the young man's ears but he didn't pay attention to them, he was immersed in his own thoughts.
Azaroth ran a hand through his fiery red hair as he stared pensively into the depths of his drink.
'Turn off the poison neutralization factor for another hour..' He gave a mental command/
|One of the aspects of the Hyper Regeneration- Poison neutralization is turned off for one more hour!|
|Note- It will get activated if the Host faces any serious threat to his life!|
Two pop-ups appeared in the floating screen in front of him but he was unbothered to even look at them.
It had been two days since his meeting with Rose.
Azaroth took a long sip of his drink, the smooth burn of the alcohol doing little to ease the turmoil in his mind.
"Should I do it... should I not...?" He muttered.
Azaroth's brow furrowed as he replayed the meeting in his mind.
The bartender approached, offering a refill, but Azaroth took the whole bottle.
After the meeting that day, he went to his villa and then to his underground facility.
The experiment with Yoora seemed to be working as her body did not turn into liquid or explode after injecting the serum.
That was the good part at least.
But she is now gone in a vegetative state and Azaroth is in India for the purpose regarding Yoora as well as to meet an old friend.
Siddharth Bachchan: The strongest hunter in India and one of the five National Level Hunters, ranking 5th in the world. (Due to Christopher being alive)
As the vessel of a Ruler and a National Level Hunter, he is pretty strong and the Guild master of the Asura Guild.
In the original story, Siddharth was described by 'Liu Zhigang' (China's top and world ranking-3rd due to Christopher being still alive)as someone with a strong savior complex, which led him to use his powers to protect people even when they never asked for it. He was also incredibly ambitious.
Powers-
Durable armored body like any other fragment of the brilliant light.
Ruler's Authority
Spiritual Body Manifestation
He is the least mentioned character in the story and Azaroth's friend...
How?
'Ah, we studied in the same school in the US before he awakened one day and his government approached him to come back to his home country.'
Ok, everyone is having a lot of doubts as to what is happening right now, right?
....
Time goes back 19 hours...
Azaroth had just come after his meeting with someone. He was looking a bit off.
"Umm, Mr. Azaroth, you all right?" Doctor Kim asked.
The were currently Inside a large room with high tech gadgets and a lot of monitors.
"Ah! Yes,it'ss nothing. What are her vitals are like?" He asked Miss Kim pointing towards the naked Yoora inside a human sized cilindrical glass tube filled with green liquid.
"She is doing fine. I'm quite shocked actually, this girl doesn't looked like something special but she is not yet dead after injecting the serum even after 5 hours is worth noting." Miss Kim reported.
"And how are her cells reacting to the serum?"
Miss Kim grabbed her tablet and showed Azaroth a screen, "You see, when I took her blood sample and added the serum this is what happened.."
Inside the screen, there was a magnified footage where Yoora's cells were being affected by the serum like constantly fighting it and trying to erase the virus but the virous got regenerated everytime.
"This batch of Sirum is an uprgade we were able to make from that young girl's blood samlpe that nearly managed to adapt before exploading but even after mixing the effects of mana stones from A-rank monsters, it is still lacking."
Azaroth was patiently listening, soon Miss Kim changed the screen to a news article.
"I think it needs a more powerful sourse cristal then these Mana stones" She said and Azaroth quirked a brow.
The news was 5 days old and the article said:
India's Asura Guild obtained a purple mana crystal from inside the A-rank gate.
Mr. Sidharth in the interview said that he is going to make a katana from this new stone and it is not for auction.
"I tried to search more before you came but there isn't more information regarding it and the fact that Mr. Sidharth has gone inside a red A-rank gate right now" Miss Kim continued and Azaroth understood.
"Stone not for sale huh?" Azaroth said and zoomed at the artical, looking at the stone's picture.
"If we can offer something more valuable than the stone, I believe they will be willing to trade it with us. I'll try to contact them as soon as the Guild Master emerges from the gate," Miss Kim suggested.
"There's no need for that; Yoora is asleep and Eun-Su and Mike will be here to help you. I think I'll go to India myself, meet an old friend, and maybe even visit the Taj Mahal," Azaroth chuckled.
...
After disembarking from the private jet, Azaroth was quickly ushered into a sleek, black luxury SUV from the airport runway so as to not cause an uproar with the crowd.
"Good Evening, Sir." The driver asked, somewhat nervous. The Guild assistant Soniya had told him the background of Azaroth and the fact that he is the old friend of Master Sidharth made his back sweat a bit.
"Mhm" Azaroth nodded, "You look tense, don't worry, I'm not someone who bullies others" He noticed the nervousness of the driver and realised that he was behaving in a different way than his 'usual' persona.
He gave the driver some reassuring words and then started looking out of the window.
The streets were lively and huge buildings of Mumbai were on each side. The vehicle swiftly navigated the bustling streets, heading towards a towering structure that dominated the cityscape—The Asura Guild.
As the SUV pulled up to the Asura Guild headquarters, Azaroth's eyes widened in awe. The building was an architectural marvel, shaped like a massive lotus flower and covered in a shimmering, reflective material that seemed to shift and dance in the sunlight.
"Hmm, these Indians sure have an eye for art."
Stepping out of the car, Azaroth was led through the lavish entrance and into a grand hall, where a young woman in glasses approached him.
"Ah hello, Mr. Morningstar! We're sorry to make you wait, sir," she said, bowing deeply. "Our Guild Master is currently clearing a dungeon gate, but I believe he'll be here within the next two hours. Please, make yourself comfortable."
"Hello to you too miss Soniya" Azaroth's goggles transformed into dark liquid that traveled under his collar and gave a charming smile that could bewitch any maiden.
"Ah, Sir.. you know my name.."
"Oh here" Azaroth pointed toward her big juicy left boob where a name tag was attached to her cloth.
"Ah!" She blushed in embarrassment and quickly led him to the lavish VIP waiting room.
He followed the woman into a spacious room, where a team of attentive maids had laid out an exquisite luncheon. The aromas wafting from the dishes made his mouth water, and he realized just how hungry he was as his mind was so busy from the past days that he had hardly eaten anything and just relayed on his regeneration factor.
The woman with big boobs and glasses hovered nearby, occasionally offering him refills or inquiring about his comfort.
One hour passed, then two, and still, there was no sign of the elusive Guild Master.
Then more minutes ticked by, stretching into more hours as Azaroth waited patiently chit chatting with Soniya about her life and job as the Guild's assistant.
He had already been shown around the impressive headquarters by the young woman but the longer he sat there, the more Soniya's and others restlessness began to grow.
Azaroth was the S-ranker who had higher mana density than Christopher Reeds, was a mage class but still could fight, had set a new record on A-rank dungeon clearance, was still infamous as a problem maker, and was the friend of their Guild Master.
The pressure was huge.
Azaroth could see the attendants and Soniya growing increasingly uneasy, their faces paling with each passing moment. It was clear they were worried about angering him with this unexplained delay.
"Don't worry miss Soniya, I think I should go for a walk or something, and don't worry, I know sometimes the Gate clearing takes time."
Sidharth had gone inside the red A-rank gate to actually train the new batch of promising hunters. And because of the fact that you can't contact with someone inside the gate, they can't even tell him to come quickly.
"Oh, yes, if you want to go somewhere, you can take the same driver, Sir. I'll inform you as soon as Master Bachchan arrives!"
...
And that brings us back to here, inside the bar where Azaroth is enjoying a drink while thinking of his meeting with Rose.
'Ah, it feels good to behave like an emo sometimes~'

In the vast expanse of the desert, a large group of people were gathered around two large tents.
The air was thick with the sound of activity as a team of ten individuals methodically skinned the corpses of massive, otherworldly creatures, extracting the valuable mana crystals embedded within them.
In front of the big tent, a group of nine people stood, their armor and weapons varying - some wielding swords, others axes, and a few carrying ornate mage staves.
"Haah.. did we do well..?"
"I don't know, it has been 24 hours since he gave us the task.."
"Master Bachchan will not be mad at us for taking so much time, right?"
"Cheer up you guys! Master is not like that, be happy, you nine really managed to clear the whole dungeon without our help!" A man in silver armor exited the tent.
Everyone cheered up, "Yaay!! So does that mean Master will pass us?"
Right now they were not in a normal desert but were inside an A-rank dungeon gate.
Though their faces were drenched in sweat from the relentless heat, they all wore expressions of triumph and satisfaction.
"That's up to him," The man said and then a a tall man in golden armor with broad shoulders, excited the tent behind the silver-armored man, surveying the scene with a proud gaze.
"Well done, everyone," he called out, his deep voice carrying across the parched landscape. "You guys managed to clear the whole thing by yourselves, from now on your training period is complete! You are officially the members of the second squad of the Asura Guild from this day!"
"Yaay! Did you hear what master Sidhartha said!!"
"Hell yeah! Now my father will be proud of me!"
"I wanna look at the faces of my relatives when my mom tells them hahaha!"
Sidhartha Bachchan laughed looking at the antiques of their new squad members. They were in the lower squad while some were newly registered. The guild was training them and he was also training them whenever he was free to make a new strike squad to dispatch in the Delhi branch.
Today was their test and they had passed.
They all exit the dungeon gate.
Cool breeze washed their faces off of the desert's heat.
"Kyaa~ now I finally feel alive~"
"Yeh! Now I can't wait to inform my girlfriend about my promotion to the 2nd squad!"
As the newly minted squad members basked in their triumph, a female figure in a gray suit came running towards Sidharth Bachchan, the broad-shouldered man in the golden armor.
The woman whispered urgently into Bachchan's ear, her expression grave. Sidharth's brow furrowed, and without a moment's hesitation, he turned to the group.
"Excellent work, all of you. Enjoy the rest of the week and party hard for clearing the Guild's test - you've earned it," he said, his voice betraying a hint of urgency. "I'm afraid I have to attend to an urgent matter. You can all go home now, Bye"
Before anyone could respond, Sidharth hurried to a waiting car, barking orders to the driver.
"To the Velocity Club, and make it quick!"
The vehicle sped off, leaving the squad members bewildered and curious about their mentor's sudden departure.
"I wonder what could be so important?" one of the swordsmen mused, scratching his head.
"Who knows, but Master Sidharth seemed quite concerned," a mage replied, her brow furrowed in thought.
...
"If he was coming, he should have told me a week before at least!"
Sidharth Bachchan's car sped through the city streets, weaving through traffic until it pulled up to the grand entrance of the Velocity Club. Without a moment's hesitation, Sidharth hurried through the opulent lobby, his eyes scanning the dimly lit bar area.
And there, sitting alone at the counter, was a familiar face – Azaroth.
Azaroth's lips curled upwards after sensing him enter the club without even looking at his direction.
Sidharth's eyes widened as he took in the young man's appearance. Though they had been classmates years ago, Azaroth had grown significantly, his once lanky frame now toned and muscular.
He didn't have any doubts because that red hair and that style solely belonged to the Azaroth he knew and not to mention he had seen every interview and news of Azaroth so he knew that Azaroth had grown a lot.
"Azaroth!" Sidharth exclaimed, rushing towards the hunter and enveloping him in a warm embrace.
"Hands off man, I don't roll that way!" Azaroth laughed.
"Y-You!"
"Pfft, look at you all flustered! lol. Here" Azaroth greeted his old friend with a smile, returning the hug.
"Look at you, you've grown so tall and strong!" Sidharth marveled, pulling back to get a better look at him.
"Even if I'm six years younger, don't treat me like a kid," Azaroth chuckled, a hint of playfulness in his voice. "We were in the same class, after all."
Sidhartha was 6 years older then Azaroth and his other classmates, he had studied in India and then got a scholarship in the US but he had started studying late because of personal reasons.
Due to this Sidhartha was out cast by his class and his only friend was Azaroth who was also an out cast.
When Siddhartha awakened his S-rank, the Indian government approached him to come back and then trained him and offered him a lot of investment, from that he built the Asura guild.
He always felt guilty of leaving his friend Azaroth in a crucial moment of his life and that's why he felt ashamed of himself for calling him and not contacting him after knowing that Azaroth also awakened, fearing that Azaroth would think he was approaching him for his personal gains.
"It's good to see you again Sid."
"You're right, my friend. It's always good to see me lol."
They both laughed.
...
Inside the car,
"I still can't believe you're an S-rank now," Sidharth marveled, shaking his head in disbelief. "You really wanted to be a hunter and now you are all over the news."
Azaroth chuckled, taking a sip of his drink. "Well, you know what they say— Every dog has its day~"
The next morning, Azaroth and Sidharth met again in a more private setting away from the bustle of the city.
"Sidharth, I was hoping we could discuss something," Azaroth began, his tone serious.
"Of course, my friend," Sidharth replied, giving Azaroth his full attention.
"I'll go straight to the point, I want that unique mana stone that was in the news two weeks ago," Azaroth said. "I was hoping you might be able to help me acquire it."
"You want that? "Sidharth's eyes widened. "But it's the hardest mana stone I've ever seen, they want to make a sword for me with that.."
Azaroth nodded. "I know, but it's something I've been wanting to get my hands on. It could be invaluable in my work"
Sidharth considered this for a moment, then a small smile crept onto his face. "Well, good thing that the process of making didn't start till now!"
Reaching into his locker, Sidharth produced a glowing, intricate stone and placed it in Azaroth's hands. "As it is still with me."
"You are really going to give me this so casually?"
Sidharth chuckled. "Consider it a gift from an old friend."
Azaroth was speechless, his fingers tracing the delicate carvings on the stone's surface.
He had thought of many manipulative ways to get this stone— Even threatening Siddhartha's relatives and whatnot. But, he really underestimated the honesty of the other guy. A genuine smile crept on Azaroth's face.
"And in return," Azaroth said, reaching into his own pocket, "I have something for you as well."
Sidharth watched in amazement as Azaroth produced a black watch that suddenly shifted and transformed, morphing into a razor-sharp sword made of shimmering very small blocks (nanobots).
He is not gonna give him all the thousand bots but just 30, not to mention the bots follow Azaroth's command, so if in the future any uncertainty happens, he will have the weapon of India's most powerful man under his command. iF you could smell what he is cooking.
"Remarkable!" Sidharth exclaimed, his fingers running along the blade in awe. "How is this even possible?"
Azaroth chuckled. "It's one of my special skills. I thought you might find it useful."
Sidharth marveled as the sword transformed back into a compact, watch-like device. "Truly incredible, Azaroth. Thank you, this thing is even cooler than that shitty stone Heh, I'm glad I showed honesty~."
....
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the city, Azaroth found himself back at the private airfield, his jet idling and ready for takeoff.
Sidharth stood by his side, a hint of reluctance in his eyes. "Are you sure you can't stay a little longer, Azaroth? I was hoping we'd have more time to catch up."
Azaroth smiled, placing a reassuring hand on his friend's shoulder. "Well, I have a lot of things to do now that you gave me this stone so easily lol. But man, it was nice being here"
Sidharth sighed, nodding in understanding. "I know, I know. The life of a renowned hunter doesn't leave much room for leisure, does it?"
"I promise I'll come back and visit soon," Azaroth said, his gaze sincere. "There's still so much we need to discuss, and I wouldn't want to miss the chance to visit Taj Mahal."
Sidharth's face lit up with a hopeful smile. "I'll hold you to that, my friend. The Asura Guild will always have its doors open for you."
" Yeah, next time I'll tell you before visiting and we'll go to Agra together, and, next time have some modals accompanying me or else I might go for your assistant Soniya~." Azaroth said cheekly to which Siddhartha nodded like he was taking notes.
With a final wave, Azaroth turned and boarded the sleek private jet, the engines roaring to life. Sidharth watched as the plane taxied down the runway, lifting gracefully into the evening sky.
