"So that's what happened?" Katherine grabbed the sandwich and stuffed her mouth with it.

"Yes, and then when our boss met with Carissa, she literally punched him in the face,"

"But he was at fault too. Even if she was his mate, who asked him to enter the area where she was bathing in the lake at night?"

"You should've seen his face. He returned with a black eye and a broken tooth but was still smiling ear to ear,"

Katherine sat in the seat with a grin as she heard stories about Masiah from the rogues who were his team members.

"Are you okay? You shouldn't have looked at me lecherously, seriously," She pressed her lips into a thin line when she looked at the man whose eyes she stabbed and was sitting there with a bandage wrapped on his right eye.
