Chapter 49: Unexpected

Phoenix and Scarmerine reached the place. Scarmerine was running around and having fun like any other child. Phoenix looked around carefully. He was looking at an old factory. It was shut down for years. The forest took over control and the factory looked like a crime scene.

Phoenix was looking around and checking every energy that moves around him. He told Scarmerine to Stop playing, but he didn't. Scarmerine wanted to enjoy that place. Phoenix suddenly saw something big moving inside the factory.

Phoenix didn't make a sound. He showed the thing to Scarmerine. He also became alert. They both moved towards the factory. Phoenix felt going in through the front entrance might be suicidal. He told Scarmerine to stay there and watch the exit. Scarmerine saluted Phoenix like he was playing police. Phoenix used a side window to get in. The window seemed like it was broken. Not just that. It seemed like it was broken recently.
