Meanwhile, somewhere unknown, there was a small clinical room, a sterile space which emanated a certain warmth despite the dampen surroundings.

The walls were painted white from the ceiling to the floor, every single thing was painted white.

Unlike the regular clinical room which were usually adorned with a few motivational posters reminding patients to stay positive and hopeful, this clinical room had none of that, except for a small black dot occasionally flashing red at the top right corner.

There was no need for a window since the lab was built underground, every single person in the lab was living off a very big supply of artificial oxygen.

In the center of the room stood a single bed, elevated slightly to provide comfort and support. Crisp white sheets were neatly tucked in, and a pale blue blanket lay folded at the foot.
