Chapter 60: He couldn't leave

The scent of her blood wafted into his nostrils, and all he could do was stare at it. Watched as the blood rolled down her palm, and he licked his lips. But he snapped back when he realized that she was in pain.

Somehow, he hated that she was in pain. The sound of her, ouch, earlier was drowned, but somehow, the sound came back replaying in his mind, which helped him become clear-headed again.

"Alright," he uttered, holding the wrist of her hand, which now bled. "If you feel.i am taking too much, say that again," he licked the finger, taking up all the blood until nothing came out again. He also followed its trail to her palm and licked there, too. "Just say ouch, and I'll stop."
