Chapter 55: Interrogation 2

"Wake the boy," Edgar ordered. "I will get the needed information from him."

His word had Damon growling. The boy was already beaten enough. He didn't need more. The expression on Edgar's face while he gave that order told that he would torture the boy further, and he didn't want his son suffering any more than he already has. The pr8ncess was merciless when she pinned him, and now he was cuffed with silver chains. Damon's also believed that liquid silver must have Ben given to him as well.

"Would prefer talking then?" Another voice, one thay Damon had never heard before said, and he directed his eyes to the unknown man. And his chest rumbled violently as he recognized the man to be a vampire.

"A vampire!" He hissed, repulsed by the sight of the night creature.

Lyrus smiled and nodded his head.
