Chapter 32: A pervert

The uncomfortable silence dragged on for a while. Auriana lost all hope when that plate slipped off Celine's and the shock in their eyes had her clenching her fist as negative thoughts invaded her mind. Perhaps she shouldn't have told them. She shouldn't have even come here at all.

"Auri," Celine called when she realized that the girl must be overthinking. It was very easy to overthink something because of their reaction.  

Aufiana looked up at her, and she squatted in front of her. Placed her hands on Auriana's clenched waist and offered a comforting smile.

"It is alright, Auri, we were just surprised. That is all. Your grandfather and I didn't mean to leave any bad impression," Celine said. As she spoke, Angus Woods came to sit beside Auriana. "See?" she smiled. "Just calm down and let us talk."
