Chapter 25: The talk

Auriana walked out of the bathroom feeling refreshed and more at ease now. Not because she had changed her mind but because she didn't care what anybody thinks anymore. Not even her parents' opinions and objections mattered to her anymore. After the exercise and a relaxing bath, her mind was clear, made up, and steeled.

"Your dress is ready, Your Highness," Irene, who stood beside the door the whole time, said the moment Auriana came out of the bathroom.

Auriana looked at the dress and raised a brow. "I thought I told you we were going on a journey and you are coming with me. Why aren't you dressed for it and why pick that dress for me?"

"Your Highnesses, I know it is out of my place to say this but you don't have to run away because of a fight you had with the king and queen, I am certain that means well for you. They are just not showing it right," Irene said and Auriana chuckled and shook her head.
