Chapter 8: CHAPTER 8
Slowly opening my eyes I herd someone say something however it was all gurgled up but after a few seconds someone appeared in my line of sight although they appeared as nothing but a blue and white blurr.
With great effort I somehow managed to sit up before a wave of nausea assaulted me causing me to clutch my stomach thankfully nothing came out.
Looking down I saw that I was in a bed with red velvet blankets covering my legs but what caught my attention was the long white strings that gracefully gathered in my lap.
"What the—." I said as I looked at my hands they looked as if they had no color whatsoever.
Suddenly remembering that there were other people around me I looked up and saw Elsa pacing nervously around the room while Anna tried to catch up.
"Elsa tell me what's wrong, what's got you so unhinged, tell me how I can help." Anna said, obviously concerned with how her sister was acting after all she has never seen her sister so fidgety.
"You can't help Anna, even right now I feel his power trying to break free, no what we need is Grand Pabbie's wisdom." Elsa said. Her voice barely above a whisper.
she stayed like that for a couple seconds before she saw me.
In quick strides Elsa sat down on the bed and simply said.
"Are you strong enough to stand?" She asked and at this point most transmigrators would try to act cool or manly however—
"Not with out the strength of a big strong man." I said with the gayest accent I could conjure up.
This got me a giggle from Anna while Elsa just rolled her eyes before Elsa stood up and made her way to the door her beautiful blue dress rolled across the ground.
"Well if your strong enough to joke your strong enough to walk." She said while waiting at the door.
"Alright, alright." I said before weekly removeing the blankets that covered and swinging my legs over the bed however just that simple task already had me sweating .
Takeing a few deep breaths I slid off the bed but still used it to support myself, afraid that with out it I might fall but after a minute I felt strong enough to let go.
Feeling my legs trimble as I walked down the hallway I couldn't help but wonder what Elsa ment by 'my power' I didn't have any power besides being immortal although there is that thing I did with gothal in the ship but even then I purposely avoided having any offensive powers and to most transmigrater I would be considered a disgrace but if I knew one thing it's that with power comes opposition and conflict and I wanted nothing to do with that nonsense thank you very much.
Looking down at my hand I imagined a shard appearing but nothing happened well that what I thought until ink black smoke started to come out of my hands until it got too heavy and fell to the floor wear it spread out before disappearing but what I found interesting was everywhere the smoke touched had a coat of frost.
And like the first time I have ever lit a fire, I felt a huge Dopamine rush, rush to my head causing me to smile however in my head only one word was being thought.
'Fuck'
——- 3rd PoV —-
After walking for a few minutes Elsa and the the gang entered the dining room where five plates of food were placed at the table.
One of the seats was occupied by Kristoff who was already stuffing the fox into his mouth only bothering to stop to greet Anna.
Sitting down at the main chair Elsa wached as Anna and Ray quickly sat down as well, Anna took the seat beside her while Ray sat down across Kristoff but after seeing him shiver a little I decided that Ray should sit closer to me.
"Ray come sit closer to me." Elsa said and he groaned before slide it his plate one seat closer and siting at that chair and eating his meal.
Satisfied Elsa started to eat and it was quiet just the quiet chatter as they scooped steaming porridge into their mouths however breakfast was only the first meal of the day so it wasn't a lot so they were all done quickly but none of them moved away from the table.
Leaning forward Anna looked over at Ray a question obviously rolling arond her tongue, the only thing stopping her was that she didn't know how to ask it however after a few more minutes of contemplation she decided to ask as direct as she could think.
"So what are your plans going forward?" She asked and Elsa couldn't help but listening in although not because she suddenly found ray interesting but because Elsa knows wean Anna is plotting something.
"Well I plan on staying here till the next winter solstice before leaving and exploreing the world before eventually going back home." Ray said as he ate some bread and wine and anyone could tell that he was drunk right now.
"And—hick—no offense to you your majesty but the amount of corruption here is just too mush for me—hick— same this cranberry juice is kicking my ass." He said drunkenly, makeing Anna and Kristoff laugh however Elsa didn't seem to find it funny instead her eyes became cold while her hands started to drip with frost however she didn't do anything drastic.
"And what do you mean by that Prince Ray?" She asked coldly and drunk and unperturbed he answered with with a confused look on his face.
"Well firstly, you do know that a kingdom sends a letter asking for safe passage to talk about marriage and what not. however seeing as you complain and whine about how difficult it is for those princes to back off, you didn't know that." He said before downing the rest of his cup and continuing.
"And secondly the very fact that you didn't ask for the ransom means that someone else did, someone with access to your royal stamp, someone with enough power to intercept the royal letter and allow other kingdoms to come here and make their marriage proposal."
Looking very angry Elsa was about to call the guards to take the Prince away however she stoped herself wean she remembered that she was somewhat suppressing his power, if not she would have him thrown into the dungeon and the fact that what he said had made some points.
As Elsa fell into deep thought Anna and Kristoff quickly left not because of the conversation Elsa and Ray just had but because Anna dragged Kristoff off to somewhere.
