Chapter 24: 24. Different during sleep
While contemplating, she slowly takes out her phone and begins to contact her bodyguard.
"Hello boss, any orders?"
"Bring me a set of men's clothing."
"Got it."
Ending the call, Wang Yuting casually looks at the dialed number on her phone. The person she contacted is her personal assistant.
After waiting for more than 15 minutes, she slowly spots a beautiful figure walking toward her. As the distance closes, we finally get a clear look at her appearance.
It's a beautiful woman standing at 170 cm with high heels, holding a shopping bag in her hand. She wears a black suit and skirt, and her hair is tied back. She exudes charm like an intelligent person.
Approaching Wang Yuting, she gently hands over her shopping bag containing men's clothing.
"Boss, this is in accordance with what you ordered," she says with a smiling face.
Looking at the men's clothes in the shopping bag, she slowly nods her head quite satisfied.
"Good, you can go back now."
However, upon hearing Wang Yuting's order, her personal assistant doesn't leave but asks curiously.
"Boss, who are these clothes for? Is it for your boyfriend?" She asks with curiosity.
"No, it's none of your business. Now go back to work," orders Wang Yuting.
"Ugh, Boss, you've finally found a man. I thought you'd be single for life," she says, touched.
Seeing her assistant's face, Wang Yuting's face immediately turns sour with a cold expression, saying to her coldly,
"Do you think I can't find a man?"
"Not at all, I just worried that the boss wouldn't find a partner because of your personality," she quickly replies, trying to ease the tension.
Wang Yuting gazes at her for a moment before coldly asking, "Do you mean you're worried because I might not find a partner due to my personality?"
"Not like that, Boss. I just want to see you happy," her personal assistant hastily answers, trying to diffuse the tension.
Wang Yuting stares at her for a moment before softening her tone. "My personal matters don't need your interference. Now, do your job well."
Her personal assistant nods hurriedly and quickly leaves in haste, leaving Wang Yuting behind.
Seeing her leave, Wang Yuting starts contemplating whether she should cut her salary.
Thinking about what her assistant said, Wang Yuting's face turns cold, and with a sniff, she thinks, "Huh, does she think I, Wang Yuting, can't find a partner?"
With a cold expression, she turns around and starts walking toward the room where Chen Wei is being treated. Entering the room with a cold face, she slowly walks toward Chen Wei.
Chen Wei happens to be sleeping at the moment, exhausted. As he sleeps, she slowly approaches and begins to observe Chen Wei's expression while sleeping.
With his sweet face full of peace while asleep, Chen Wei looks so calm under the room's light. His soft black hair is spread out on the pillow, and his smooth skin looks captivating.
Wang Yuting pays attention to every detail of Chen Wei's face. His closed eyes give a peaceful impression, while his slightly open lips reveal a gentle smile. Wang Yuting can't help but smile a little when seeing Chen Wei so charming even while asleep.
Despite her cold demeanor, seeing Chen Wei in his sleep momentarily makes Wang Yuting feel warm inside. She stands there, allowing herself to be momentarily captivated by the handsomeness emanating from Chen Wei's peaceful face.
