Chapter 16: Chapter 15 - New strange evolution.
I've edited the previous chapters and want to let you know. It was a minor change, but I have to explain what happened.

I went to a safe place and hid in my web to see the new evolution path again. As I said, the system was bugged, and new evolution paths have appeared.
A screen showed the evolution tree, but the new path was outside this screen. In other words, it shouldn't exist, and neither should I. 'Seriously, this is a mess.'
I'm surprised D hasn't sent anyone here or done anything. She's the administrator and must have noticed me by now. There's no way she doesn't know that I'm here.
Or maybe she knows I'm here, but she thinks I'm just an ordinary monster?
No, that's impossible.
An ordinary spider wouldn't be able to kill two dragons without difficulty. I'm sure D will act at any moment. And before that, I have to evolve again and get stronger.
'If I follow Kumoko's path of evolution and evolve into Zoa Ele, I'll be strong... But will that be enough? I need more than this.'

A new evolution. There's not even a "preview" of what I will become, like a shadow or something. It's just a question mark. 'But if the system is giving me this, I should do this evolution.'
This evolution has to do with my editing skills. I'd be an idiot not to choose this path.
'Right, I want to evolve into... this strange race!' I didn't know how to say the name. And after I chose the new evolution, I didn't lose consciousness. Yes, I stayed awake.
I could feel all the changes happening in my body.
My size increased, I could see the color of my skin changing to a dark red(almost black), sharp claws appeared on all my legs, and a small red crystal appeared on my forehead.
All this took no more than a minute. It was a rapid evolution. But that left me so amazed that it seemed to take longer.

But honestly, I thought my new race would change everything. It's changed practically nothing. My HP and SP recovery skills have leveled up, and so have my basic stats... But...
My editing skill, which was supposed to increase in level... didn't. It's still at level two. However, even though my [ Editing ] skill hasn't increased in level, a new skill related to my "class" has appeared.

'It's wonderful! The longer the edit duration lasts, the better!'
Before my first evolution, it was 5 minutes, then 10, then 20, and now 40 minutes. 'But the edit duration is now 52 minutes because of the 30% bonus, so that's great.'
Now that my evolution is complete, should I have some fun? I'll farm some EXP while I wait for D. I'm sure she will appear soon.
If she doesn't hurry, I'll end up killing my mother and the demon lord! Hehehe.
'No, I wouldn't do this crazy thing.'
I destroyed my house and started running using my new body. Yes, it was much better. My body is lighter, and my speed is very high.
Even without the editing skill, I won't have any problems killing the monsters around here.
And as I imagined, it was very easy.
A few Greshigard appeared, and I quickly killed them using my new claws that had been created on the tips of all my legs. I cut off their paws as if they were made of butter and then ripped off their heads.
I also encountered a group of three Randanels, but I quickly killed them, making quick movements and cutting off their heads.
And so I continued, killing and killing more monsters until an area of several square meters was clear, with no monsters at all.
And I realized something.
'I didn't level up once, even after killing several monsters.'
I chose a problematic evolution.
