Chapter 50: BREAKFAST AND GOSSIP

" I can't wait to see the look on your face when my brother is finally tired of you." Matilda said with her head held high as she peered down at me.

"Me too." Rylan murmured but she heard him. Immediately she shot daggers at him.

" Your days are numbered." Her shrill voice ended with a high note.

" Alright." I nodded with a smile. " I'll take that into consideration." The best way to deal with people like her was to be unaffected by what they say or do. I didn't know her deeply but I could make almost an accurate assumption. People like her thrived on attention. Take that away from her and she is reduced to nothing.

"Hmmpphh." She harrumphed before stepping out of the dining hall like a spoiled child that didn't get what she wanted. She stamped her feet stubbornly as she walked away. She went straight to the lounge, just where Mr Greystone was.
