Sarah's POV:

"I don't understand." Jacob stood up with his gaze stuck on my face, probably trying to figure out my reaction.

"You said you would make me an influencer if I signed under you, so I accep the offer. But even if you refuse to sign me, then I will find a different industry."

I gritted my teeth angrily; she had challenged me, so how could I not accept it?

"Are you doing this for revenge?"

"What is it to you?"

"Seriously? I have always been there for you, Sarah; please just value me," he said in an irritated tone. Right now, the only thing on my mind was becoming better than Elma, and I wanted to prove to her that she was not the original version.

"I will sleep now." I wanted him to leave, since he wasn't offering me what I wanted. I didn't want someone to tell me that I was doing something wrong because I wasn't.
