Chapter 105: Too Smart

Elma's POV:

"What do you mean by 30% survival rate? It's obvious this hospital isn't good." Mother frowned at the doctor before she turned to George and said, "Go prepare her transfer to the city hospital."

The doctor didn't refute; he gave some comforting words before he left. "Mother," Amber woke up from the bench where she was sleeping. I had almost forgotten about that one.

She walked to us, and mother held her. "Where is my mother?" 

"Your mother is sleeping, okay? She is fine." Mother carried her in her arms, and then Amber's gaze moved to Anthony.

She stared at him weirdly before looking away, and then her gaze moved to me. "You look like my mother, but why did you have to push her?" She asked, and my eyes widened in shock.

I had warned her not to mention that, and she just did. They all stared at me in disbelief.

"You pushed her and were about to abandon her there?" George questioned me, and I chuckled nervously.
