Chapter 115: The Devious Journey of Brian Rogers

Like many others of his age, Brian was a video enthusiast, but his income was almost non-existent to support such an endeavor. He had parents who were old and needed to be taken care of. You see he was born late to them and by the time he reached his twenties, they were already in their seventies.

The old couple used to have to work hard in order to support their family and that took a toll on their life. As they became older, the work they could do became minimal. So the burden fell on the shoulders of young Brian.

Due to the poor condition of the family, he couldn't play video games as much as other children and he resented them for it, not just other children but also his parents. The resentment grew as he grew up.

It wasn't just video games but the needs of him rose as he grew. He saw many of his classmates who come to college in luxurious clothes and in high-level cars. He wanted to be one like them but his family couldn't afford such a cost.
