Chapter 40: Not holding back.

"How much longer will this take?" I ask Lucia, my sliced hand above a pot as my blood drips into it. The pot is halfway full and I am in so much pain.

"The more I need, the longer it will take."

Kai and Karla were able to get Lucia in with some kind of miracle and honestly, I didn't even want to know how they were able to do it but I am happy we are safe.

"Can you remind me what the plan is again?" Elpis asked staring at the map.

"For tomorrow which I assume is the alpha's dinner I can't be there, so your job is to know who exactly is with the seal."

"Shouldn't it be with Eloit?"

"True it should but they sometimes like to rotate who holds it and given the celebration, it will probably be in hand. We just have to find out who exactly is holding it. How much blood do you need again?" this was really hurting and from the pool of blood I was seeing in the blowing, this would take a century to heal and probably leave a scar.
