Chapter 32: My love is enough for both of us

I stayed with Hemera till she fell asleep. I didn't want to disturb her so I went downstairs to the garden and honestly, I needed to clear my head.

My mind went back to that night and I don't know if it will be safe for me to leave her. Given it much thought, I think I might have taken things too far. Yes, she doesn't feel like I am her mate but that doesn't mean she is still involved with Crane. If she was, she wouldn't have come to me.

My mind went back to that fire incident and I couldn't help but ask questions. The problem here is that Hemera doesn't even know the answer. She can't remember what happen. In her head it is like it never happened which was very weird to me. Was she on hypnosis when it happen? I have searched a lot of books in the library but I couldn't find anything similar to what I saw and I am running out of options. For once, I am so glad I was the only one there to see that.
