As I ventured into the neighboring village, a strange sensation washed over me, and I couldn't help but smile. I sensed her presence, and for the first time in a long while, hope surged within me. I was determined to bring her back.

I strode through the village, oblivious to the curious glances of its inhabitants. Something about the way they seemed a bit happier here intrigued me. The separation of the village into two distinct parts was a mystery I couldn't decipher at the moment. My singular focus was on finding my beloved wife and returning her home.

Lost in my thoughts, I failed to notice the person standing directly in my path. Before I could react, we collided. When I turned to see who it was, a sense of regret washed over me; it was the same girl I had encountered the previous night.

"Hey, it's you," she said, her voice breaking my solitude. I decided to continue walking, ignoring her.
