Sierra pov

I opened my eyes, finding the lady in tears. I couldn't help but wonder why she was crying.

Gently, I raised my hands, placing them on her shoulders. As she turned to look at me, she began wiping away the tears from her face, her emotions palpable.

I slowly rose from the bed I had been lying on and walked over to her. She remained silent, just gazing at me with those teary eyes.

When I reached her side, I sat down beside her and put my arms around her shoulders. She looked up at me, and I couldn't help but break into a warm smile.

"Why do you put yourself through so much? I understand you don't want to be here, and neither do I. I remember when I first arrived here, I thought it was the end of the line, but it turned out to be a living hell. I'm sorry that you had to come here too, and I promise I'll do everything I can to get you out of this place."
