I felt an overwhelming surge of fear coursing through me, causing my body to tremble uncontrollably, as though I had just encountered a ghost. I was left bewildered, unsure of my actions. My heart raced within my chest, pounding furiously.

Swiftly, I dropped the stick I was holding onto the floor, my movement fueled by the fear that gripped me. I retreated in terror, my gaze fixed on the lifeless figure lying before me. The weight of responsibility settled heavily on my shoulders; I blamed myself entirely for this situation. The fear was paralyzing, leaving me utterly clueless about what steps to take next.

With cautious steps, I edged my way backward until I finally collapsed to the ground. Placing my hand over my chest, I felt the frantic rhythm of my heartbeat, a physical manifestation of my distress.
