Chapter 83: The Guild Leader and the Temporary Secretary
"So what are we going to do now?"
Inside the house, Anna, Alex, and Rica are still deciding what to do next.
Alex has no idea what to do next, but Rica does, so she decides to express her thoughts so that they can help Alex decide.
"I have two options."
Rica has a serious expression on her face, as if she is about to reveal who the culprit is.
"Continue."
So they began to listen to her.
"First—This is something I don't want to do. Escape. Leave the City. Be it by herself or with us. Second, the most rational thing to do is to do nothing and remain here."
"I think I agree with Rica, Alex."
Anna immediately agrees to her idea, but they do not know which option she chooses.
"You agree with—?"
Alex needs to know the answer.
"I agree to hide here. Since that man has yet to find us, we may as well continue our lives until the situation calms down. Since it is still new, everyone will be staring at someone right now."
"To summarize, Anna, you will live here as a freeloader?"

He looked behind her and noticed a woman with blonde hair and red eyes.
Her beauty can be described as something that grows on you the longer you look at her.
Her formal uniform already demonstrates her beauty, but she would undoubtedly be more beautiful if she wore gothic clothing.

The woman called him out of surprise.
"Who is he?"
Alex wanted to ask how she knew his name, but another woman arrived and asked her a question while observing him.
Her dark red hair stands out against her tanned skin.
Despite this, her body is the embodiment of a perfect body, and it is clear how well-trained she is.
The brown eyes observing him bear some resemblance to Anna's stare, but have a less profound effect on him.
"His name is Alex, Alex Hambell."
The blonde woman introduced him.
"Hambell? Oh! So that is why I think your face is familiar. You truly look like Erwin!"
Erwin is the name of Alex's father.
"So what are you doing here? Looking for your aunt? I'm sorry but she's not here. She's in the middle of her job right now."
The dark red haired woman enthusiastically give him answer.

"May I ask something?"
"What is it?"
"Are you the guild leader?"
"Oh! yeah! We have not seen each other in a while, so I will introduce myself. My name is Angelina Valentine, and I am the guild leader of this city. This is—"
"My name is Beatrice Heartwell. You may not remember, but I used to live next to your house with my family when I was younger."
"Hey, hold on a minute! Why don't I know this, Beatrice?"
"Guild leader, I met you when I was younger, but you did not look at me then."
"Oh! Ah, eh. Anyway, was that all you wanted to ask, Alex?"
Angelina chose to avoid the subject and instead approach him directly.
Meanwhile, Alex is astounded by what he has suddenly learned.
A childhood friend has seemingly appeared out of nowhere, but Alex Hambell's memories are hazy, but he is certain she met him when he was younger.
However, for some reason, there is another thing that reminds her of something, but he cannot recall what it is.
He eventually snapped out of his thoughts because he needed to get things done quickly.
