Chapter 45: Chapter-45: Fight Club-2
Ronan was eating an apple while waiting for George and Fred outside the great hall that night. Soon they came out, accompanied by other 4th-year Gryffindors…
"George! Fred!" he called out to them. The group came to a stop and turned towards him.
"What does he want?" Their friend Lee Jordan asked while glaring at them...
"Can we talk alone for a moment?" The twins said something to their friends and they went their own way. Away from the ongoing crowd of the hall, he took to the side to talk.
"Do you have another deal for us?" one of the twins asked, "We are of your service," the other one spoke.
"Also, thank you for saving Ron. We heard what you did for him," the first one said.
Ronan waved his hand, "That is alright. The reason I want to talk to you is to know whether both of you are willing to join my club?"
"Your club?" one of the twins said curiously, "What is it about?" the other one asked.
"First of all, it is a very exclusive club. That means you can't speak about it to any other person. Secondly, this club is about the things that asked you to bring me. And that is the only reason that you guys are getting an early invitation."
"That doesn't answer our question," one of them said, "What is it about? Are you planning on opening an illegal dueling club or something?"
"I have permission from Professor McGonagall about opening the club. It is totally legit. If you want to join, wear casual clothes and meet me at the abandoned classroom on the 6th floor, beside the shrieking witch's portrait, at sharp 6:00 pm on Sunday."
"Woah, you are really taking this club very seriously," one of them said.
"Yeah, I am. Again, I have only invited you two. No one else." Ronan said, and then he walked away from them.

At 5:50 pm on Sunday, Ronan waited outside the designated classroom, waiting for three people. He had invited twins and Blaise to the club. These three were the ones that helped him gather and make the things that he wanted, which is why it made sense to him that these were the people that he wanted to invite as the first members of the club.
And sure enough, as his pocket watch was about to strike 6'o clock all three of them arrived at the same time. He greeted them and quickly got them into the classroom. Prior to this meeting, he had set up everything in the room. In the middle of the room was a miniature boxing ring, and on the other side of the room was hidden behind a very large curtain.
Ronan closed the door behind them and then came to the front. "Welcome, to the fight club?" he said.
Blaise chuckled, "Fight Club? You told me that this was a not dueling club." Ronan shook his head, "We will be doing something else here. Not dueling."
Then Ronan continued, "Before I start the demonstration, let me make myself very clear. I am the founder and the president of the club. And there are some rules that everyone has to follow if they want to stay in the club."
Weasley twins nodded absent-mindedly and were looking kind of bored, so he decided to start with the demonstration first. Ronan then went behind the curtain and came out with a puppet in his hands.
The thing was around 3 feet tall, it was a male puppet who was wearing blue color ninja-like attire. Its pupils were fully blue and it had a mask around its mouth. Ronan then put the puppet in the ring and came out.
"You see that?" Ronan pointed towards the puppet, "I made that. I call it, war puppet. I named this one, Sub-Zero," he then whipped out his wand and tapped on the ring, immediately sub-zero which had been lying on the floor lifelessly, became alive.
Now suddenly everyone became interested in what he was trying to show them.
"Sub-zero, demonstration"
The puppet bowed to Ronan. Then he faced all three of them and got into a fighting position. Suddenly ice started forming in the hands of the puppet, and it started doing kata of judo. The puppet threw punches and kicks, jumped rolled around showing its capabilities. After a set of moves were done, Ronan ordered, "Finish it,"
The puppet then joined its hands together, and as it started separating its hands, ice started forming between them in the shape of a sword. After the sword was formed, the puppet then jumped into the air and slammed its sword into the ground, shattering the sword, while also rumbling the whole ring in the process as well. A piece of ice came sliding toward the twins, one of them picked it and up watched it in amazement.
"Wicked!" The twins exclaimed.
"How.. Wha… that…" Blaise was speechless, when he suddenly exclaimed, "Wait a second! This a fight club. You are telling me that we would be fighting these puppets?"
Ronan passed him a smile and then fished out the controller from his pockets, "You will be controlling the puppets with these. They are remotes that muggles use for video games, but I have configured them in a way that we would be able to control these puppets with them. Crazy isn't it?"
"It is beyond crazy!" one of the twins exclaimed, "Count us in!" the other one exclaimed.
"Wait, before that… You said puppets. This is not the only one that you have?" Ronan then swiped his hand and the curtains were fully unveiled, showcasing the 16 puppets that he had prepared over the past few days. These puppets were of different shapes, sizes, and genders, all of them based on Mortal Combat.
"Count me in…" Blaise said as he took a step towards the puppets, but before he could do that, he was stopped by Ronan.
"No no no… You dont get access to puppets before the orientation of the club," Ronan said strictly.
"What is there more to say?" one of the twins asked.
"There are some rules of the fight club. That everyone has to follow," all three of them started looking at him with curiosity. So he continued, "The first rule of the fight club is that The President is the top power in the club. I will be the one to decide who to invite and ban. You cannot just invite any of your friends, and think that I will be okay with it. Cross me, and you will never enter this place again."
They all nodded, "The second rule of the fight club is, that war puppets are not allowed to be used outside the ring. It could be dangerous, and I might have lied to Professor McGonagall about the capabilities of these puppets. So no one is allowed to use the puppets outside this club room. Also, one has to leave their puppets here after every session."
The rest of the rules were pretty straightforward. One has to pay a joining fee when coming to the club. That fee would be his earnings for making the puppet for the new member. The best part was, if the puppets broke during the fight, only he could fix them, so he would be charging people as well to fix their broken puppets.
One of the most important rules was that there should be no house rivalry in the clubhouse. Ronan was thinking about inviting the most influential and rich students to the club, he couldnt have someone ruining the mood just because of something simple a house rivalry. And this rule also included no use of names like mud-bloods or half-bloods. All of them were equal, when in the boundaries of the club.
After he was done, he wrote their name on a sheet of paper and allowed them to take one puppet each as their Christmas present, for free. Although he only had two controllers at the moment, he asked the twins to order some more for the club. And as they were the first members of the club, they were exempted from the fees, which they liked very much.
After some experimenting with the puppets, Ronan then told them about the puppets and the rules of the match. He had made the rules of the fight, just like a boxing ring. Every fighter would have a dedicated corner around the ring. These dedicated corners would have two bars, which would donate the health and special ability bar of the puppet.
All the puppets have a certain level of health, which would be displayed on the corner of the fighters. The health bar represents the health of the puppet in the match. With every beating the puppet's health would diminish. And with the rate at the opponents' health diminishes, the special ability bar of the person would increase. And when the ability bar is full, with a command on the remote, a person could activate the special ability of their puppet.
As far as controls were concerned, they were pretty straightforward, and none of the three had any problems using their puppets. George, who had decided to take Sub-zero as its own, Fred decided to take Scorpion. While Blaise settled with a horned character called General Shao.
All four of them fought with each other, and everyone had fun. No one was able to defeat him, but that was given. But no one complained, they actually had too much find during the time that were about to forget the curfew, if it wasn't for him. And then the first session of Fight Club ended…
On Monday morning, when Ronan came to the great hall, everyone was looking at him. Some people were looking at him because of the heir rumor, while the rest of them were looking at him because of the rumors of the Fight Club. He believed that the twins and Blaise would be the perfect people to spread the rumors of the club, and he was right. As soon as he sat down, Draco and his gang came to sit down with him.
"Ronan, I heard that you started a club," Draco asked, curious about the club.
Ronan smiled, he had anticipated it. Quickly he took out three envelopes from his robes and handed them to Draco, "I have already prepared three invitations for three of my friends. The location of the club is in the letter inside, and everything else as well. I will be in the club room from 5 in the evening, come in whenever you want," Draco smiled and took the envelopes.
And just like that, he handed 10 more envelops that day. And 7 of them were interested in the club of his…
