Chapter 150: Hell of Eternal Remorse

A sharp gasp escaped Chen Ru at the sight of blood flowing down Song Zhuyu's hand, his expression turning aghast. "Father Song! You… what are you…"

"Don't worry," Song Zhuyu chuckled softly as he tossed the knife aside, sending it clattering across the tiled floor. He clenched his fists to squeeze more blood into the water. "Just take it as me… hastening the process. Besides, this is a replacement for holy water, remember?" Giving Chen Ru a reassuring look, he said, "Then, I will be going." And toward the grim reaper, who stood by the sidelines as though watching an interesting show, Song Zhuyu added somberly, "Please take Chen Ru away if something goes wrong. Drag him if you have to."

That sentence sent alarm bells ringing in Chen Ru's head. "W–What do you mean by that? Father Song?!" he exclaimed in haste to demand an answer, but unfortunately the crimson-haired man acted as though he heard nothing.
