"I… didn't?" Song Zhuyu replied, though his tone was tinged with uncertainty. 

What did Rui Ye mean by that? He had always been here, never moving from this spot. He didn't have any history of sleepwalking either, but just to be sure, he checked his feet and was relieved to find them clean. His position was also exactly where he last remembered it. 

"Really?" Rui Ye became confused as well. "I could have sworn…"

"Are you sure you're not dreaming it up?" Reaching out, Song Zhuyu measured the man's temperature and he clicked his tongue upon sensing that it was warmer than normal. "See? You're feverish again."

"Your hand is cold…" Rui Ye couldn't resist nuzzling his face into Song Zhuyu's palm like a baby kitten he was, a contented smile gracing his lips. "It feels good," he released a sigh before his expression turned wistful, clouded by nostalgia. "Maybe because we were talking about my mother, but I dreamed about her."
