"What?" Raon exclaimed after he heard Tykos.

Lia wasn't any better, as this punishment was too evil and seemed to make them work to the bone.

"Well, I told you, didn't I? It is not me. You undermined the Elders' authority, so they want to teach you a lesson" said Tykos, already expecting such reactions.

"It's absurd" Raon pointed out, but Tykos just shrugged his shoulders.

"They want to instill their authority in others, not us" Lia muttered, making Tykos surprised, as what she said was correct.

Raon nodded in reluctance, understanding the hidden motive, and calmed down.

"We have no choice, do we?" Raon asked a rhetorical question.

Tykos just nodded with a knowing smile.

'Tsk, so annoying' Raon thought as his mood soured.

'But on second thought, I can start my empire project early. Hmm, I am weaker, though... Well, it's not like I can't take her help' Raon mused as he suddenly let out a shallow smile.
