Chapter 201: The Horny Drunks (*RR)

I'm not sure how long I stood by the balcony but it was enough for the DJ to change songs three times before I went back inside.

I was fully expecting myself to still be the only one awake but when I walked in, I found Mara seated at the couch with a glass of wine in hand.

"Oh, welcome back, Tera. Did you have fun?"

I raised an eyebrow, "I was literally just standing outside and watching the crowd. I wasn't even doing anything."

"Mmhmm~ So did you have fun watching the crowd?"

"I wouldn't call it fun… Just thinking about stuff I guess."

She patted the spot beside her and I went over to sit by her side.

"How are you up though? Last I saw you were knocked out by the alcohol completely," I asked.

She tilted her head slightly, "I'm a Gene Splicer, Tera. Do you think I wouldn't have given myself mods that would help me deal with alcohol or even just poisons in general?"

"You can do that?"
