Chapter 47: Too Bad

As Ruby pulled Melvin with her away from the guys, he couldn't help feeling very anxious as he turned around to look at Kimberly who was grinning, as she watched him being dragged away by Ruby.

He was anxious because he didn't want Nathan or Stefan telling Kimberly stuff he naturally wouldn't want her to know, since neither Stefan nor Nathan knew he wasn't the one exactly there with them, and might just pour out their hearts and thoughts to her.

He knew the only reason Ruby would want to lead Kimberly away, was because the guys wanted to talk to him. He could tell that they suspected that something was wrong, especially after he saw how they exchanged glances when he made a slip earlier.

What were they going to say to her? What was she going to say to them? Would she make a slip? Would they notice anything? What about Ruby? What would she be asking him? Melvin mused.
