Chapter 142: Your sweet cries

"No," Alora refused and walked past him. She held the cup filled with blood and handed it to Magnus. "It must be a tiring day for you," she said, watching him drinking the blood. His thirst quenched while recuperating his energy. 

She took the cup from him and wiped his mouth using the napkin in her hand. Placing the cup on the table, Alora asked Magnus if he didn't wish to have supper. 

"I can ask Tobias to tell the chefs to cook the food of your choice," Alora opined. 

"I'm not hungry. Blood was enough for me," Magnus replied, drawing nearer to her. "But my appetite lies elsewhere," he whispered against her lips, his touch tracing a sensual path from her waist down to her left thigh.

"Don't deny that you wore this dress without reason," he continued, not intending to read her thoughts but rather wanting her to confess her intentions willingly. The tension between them simmered with it.
