Shane then descended from the ramparts to meet this unexpected ally. 

"Welcome to our refuge," he said, extending his hand in greeting. "Your skills will be invaluable in the upcoming Zombie Wave."

Lady Seraph took his hand, her grip firm and sure. "I am ready to stand against them…" 

Of course, since the Zombie Wave was coming, he immediately asked for her current set of skills. He wanted to know whether to place her in the frontlines or the backlines.
