Chapter 231: Wrapping Up (1)

Henry's eyes were fixed on the glowing screen, his mind struggling to process the notification that flashed before him, a message that seemed to defy all logic...

[The dungeon has been conquered!]

[The transdimensional gates will close in thirty minutes!]

"How is this possible..." he mumbled absentmindedly. 

Adrian had actually done it. He had defeated the boss monster, just like he said he would. Henry thought he would get rid of Adrian by locking him up with a seemingly undefeatable monster. But his overconfidence backfired, and now they were on the verge of losing everything. 

But even then, all wasn't lost. Adrian might have defeated the boss, but there was no way he was getting out of the barrier he had placed. It would be his win as long as the dungeon closed while Adrian was trapped inside.
