Chapter 8: Soul Hunting Forest
At the entrance of Soul hunting, two six years old children followed by two adults stepped into the forest. They were Xu siblings Xu fan and Xu yin, and the adults were ghost and Ju douluo.
It has been more than a month since the siblings awakened their martial soul. Xu Yin took a whole month to breakthrough to level ten, that's why Xu fan also didn't get a soul ring till now. He waited to get it with his sister.
For the whole month, he was studying with Ju douluo about the martial souls. So, after Xu Yin broke through level ten, two douluos took the siblings to Soul Hunting forest on Pope's orders.
The Hunting Soul Forest is the best place to hunt for spirit rings with newly awakened martial souls. Most of them have the most hundred-year-old soul beasts, and there are not many thousand-year-old soul beasts, and the ten-thousand-year soul beasts are even rarer.
Fearing that some soul masters will kill soul beasts indiscriminately, the Wuhun Temple sent troops to guard the Hunting Soul Forest. If you want to enter the Hunting Soul Forest, you need a warrant from the Wuhun Temple to enter the forest.

Ju douluo guarded the siblings, while Ghost douluo moved separately to look further for the soul beasts.
In the next two days, they didn't found any appropriate soul beasts. On the third day, ghost douluo finally found the soul beast for Xu Yin. It was a life tulip 400 years old. Life tulip in fact is medicinal material and is the target of the other soul beasts. These tulips usually have a guardian beast protecting them, but obviously it should've have been killed by Ghost douluo.
"Lady, kill it and absorb the soul ring."
Xu Yin took the dagger given to her by elder douluo and killed the spirit beast. A yellow soul ring condensed above the corpse of the beast.
Xu Yin started absorbing, while others guarded her. Xu fan who was looking at Xu Yin's condition, heard Ju douluo's voice: "Kid, your soul ring is also here."
Xu fan looked at where Ju douluo was signaling. There was a lizard type spirit beast in Ghost douluo's hand. Due to the huge strength gap, there were no signs of resistance.

Xu fan found himself in a blank space, it seems to be his spirit sea. In front of him was a poison lizard staring warily at a huge black snake. He identified them immediately. They were the poison lizard he just killed and his martial spirit. Black snake emperor looked at the lizard in front of him, and with a single strike of snake emperor, the lizard died.
After killing the lizard, Snake emperor looked at Xu fan for a moment and disappeared. Although it only looked for a moment, Xu fan could feel the immense strength through that gaze.
The next process was easy and Xu fan easily absorbed the spirit ring of the poisonous dragon lizard.
