Chapter 43: Training Will and Wizardry (1)

Merchant's Rest was in chaos in the days that followed.

There was so much stuff going on and many crucial events that occurred that the talks of the trade routes were practically shut down.

The next day, Paul's death was reported by those who worked with him, and the gruesome murder of Paul was revealed.

The death of Paul also added another dilemma as Christopher took over the role and claimed that the fire mage who murdered his brother did so against the Diante family.

The enemies of Christopher could do very little apart from protest against the decision as it crippled the trade.

But they could not do anything since it was a death in the family and an attack on one of the high positions of Merchant's Rest.

Trade talks were effectively silenced as Christopher became an unreasonable man who attacked and seemingly became paranoid about everything.
