The air eddies, when formed on the surface of the facilities, throw everything in their path, generating significant damage. Aleis's possessed body rises above the whirlwind in the astral plane, creating a whirlwind of fire that moves at over 385 mph toward the nearest city. Meanwhile, Xavier and Emma Frost, uniting their telepathic abilities, establish a psychic link to stop the Shadow King.
On the astral plane, the telepaths dive into Swain's mind, forcing the entity to appear. Thus begins an intense mental and astral battle, where psychic forces intertwine in a fight for control and supremacy. The city is in danger, and the resolution of this battle on the astral plane could determine the fate of all involved.
The battle is fought both in Swain's mind and in the astral realm. Distorted images and fragments of thoughts fill the mental landscape as the telepaths fight the dark forces of the Shadow King.
The whirlwind of fire is rapidly approaching the city on the physical plane, threatening imminent destruction. On the physical plane, the fiery tornado fades, the city is saved, and the astral threat dissipates.
