Chapter 11: Chapter 11 initial deductions.
The last two periods were rather free with the teacher being absent and Haruto slipped out of the rowdy class wanting to have some peaceful time to himself. He was feeling a bit melancholic and waltzed his way to the empty piano room. He would come here whenever he felt his mind was on several things and couldn't calm itself down.
Sitting on the piano chair Haruto started to play some classic beathoven to distract himself. The music played throughout the hallway but no one bothered to check it as some teachers knew that very few students know to play this well and to play Beathoven this well must mean that it was Haruto who played.
At Beika Police department
Kudo Shinichi skipped the last few classes giving a cheap lie to the teacher and slipped out of the school and came to the MPD.
Meeting with inspector Megure and Superintendent Matsumoto, Kudo was brought inside the isolated office of the Superintendent where the details of the case was slowly mentioned along with some pictures of the victim taken.
The initial exhilaration was nowhere to be found and was replaced by a grim look along with rage. No matter what he said Kudo was a man who longs for justice as much as he desires mystery and puzzles.
What he saw was the work of a monster that needs to be put down as soon as possible and with that conviction he started his deductive reasoning.
"I see the work of two different group. One was either an individual or a small group who raped the girl and possibly tortured her till her eventual death while the other was responsible for disposing off the corpse while removing any and all traces of DNA of both the culprit and the victim".
"Further the rapist probably does not have much experience in crime while the person who disposed off her body is someone who had done this before".
"We too had the doubt of a second party's involvement because of craziness involved in the scene. But why do you say that the rapist and the disposal are done by different persons".
The question was asked by Matsumoto while looking intrigued.
"There are dissimilarities in the body of the victim. The person who raped her was not on right mind and was probably stoned out of his mind. This can be seen by the sheer violence he used while raping the victim. By this we can deduce that the perpetrator was highly unstable and rage filled towards the victim. On a psychological perspective we can gain additional information such as the rapist had been subjected to humiliation recently and has an average intellect and this fact enrages him. He is someone who likes to bully people who are weaker than him to show his dominance.
People like them tend to hide their face behind a mask and usually are subservient to strong. Would bend themselves whenever they are humiliated but tends to take it out on the weak when no one is present".
"What about the guy who helped in hide the body".
"From here gets a bit disturbing. This man is someone who is cold, ruthless and exhibits psychopathism every now and then. Unlike the rapist this one is dominant, intelligent and charismatic and is usually a winner in the society.
This is why it's a contradiction because there is no way for the subservient to enjoy and killthe victim while ordering a dominant one to dispose off the body unless the dominant one is actually his subordinate. Further this dominant one was also able to mask the work of the rapist with his own.
If you look at the 3rd picture carefully the toe nails on the left leg vastly differs the right one. The left leg shows that the man who removed it struggled quite a bit which suggest to me that this subservient one is quite weak probably due to regular usage of drugs and other controlled substance or is a minor while the right leg nails were removed cleanly in one stroke which shows not only the persons power but also his clean technique which explains my hypothesis that this was done by someone who had done this deed before".
The both veteran police officers were amazed by the intellect displayed by the high school student before them.
'You are truly the saviour of Tokyo Police force Kudo-kun' thought Inspector Megure.
They proceeded to discuss further plans to proceed with the investigation and by the end of it they gained more than the work done prior to arrival of Kudo Shinichi.
Taking a printed copy of the case details Kudo left the MPD and made his way to the victim's school to gather clues. The MPD had somehow managed to obtain that information using various DNA analysis and missing persons report which had arrived today.
"Miki Seichirou, don't worry I'll bring your killer to justice" Kudo swore in his heart as he made to Kuzu High school.
Meanwhile inside MPD, after Kudo Shinichi left, Megure and Matsumoto made plans on the direction they were going to take while investigating when they heard a knocking sound.
In came the lead Forensic officer who was responsible for the autopsy of the victim. His face was grim and looking at this brought a heavy atmosphere to the office.
"What is it?" asked Matsumoto.
"Unfortunately I have more bad news. The victim, Miki Seichirou was pregnant. Unfortunately the broken glass pierced through the womb and killed the fetus".
His words were like thunder to both the Police veterans and Matsumoto who was known to be gentle on the inside seethed in rage.
"Megure I want results. We must catch them as soon as possible".
"Yes sir".
The time was 5.45 pm and Haruto came out of his shower and dried his body using a towel. Looking inside his wardrobe he picked one of his many expensive shirts, a Versace black shirt and matched it with a cream coloured pant. He further opened his draw to wear his Rolex watch and groomed his hair properly giving him a more matured look.
He knew that they were probably visiting someone of equal status and from fishing of info from his Mom he learned that they were meeting the Ooka group head, Ooka Tatsuhiko.
When he came downstairs he saw his father wearing an Armani suit and his mother looked stunning in her blue dress.
Complimenting his mother's looks brought a stunning smile on her face and he could see that she was truly happy to hear that from him.
"Hey why don't you compliment me?"
Haruto's Dad shamelessly posed expecting some praise from his son and all he got was a look of disdain and sarcasm.
Going out his father pulled out his Black official Bence and unlike before outside his house stood two black sedan whom Haruto recognised as his father's bodyguards.
While his father pulled out their car Haruto went towards the guards and chatted with Uncle Mathew who was his father's private bodyguard while the rest were his assigned guards from the military police.
