What is life?

In the celestial civilization culture that Link understood, there were primarily three main points regarding the discourse on "life":

The paths of Qián transform and each determine one's life.

Nature is the innate quality, like the differences between hardness and softness, slowness and swiftness; while destiny is what people receive, like the distinctions between nobility and lowliness, the lengths of life allotted.

What creatures receive is their nature, and what Heaven bestows is their destiny.

Simplifying it, life is the innate abilities and characteristics that all things possess at birth.

What was so special about Link's Life Light that warranted the Element Sage to specifically visit, try to acquire it, and then promptly give feedback?

After much thought, the only point Link could consider was his True Spirit's origin—how he had traveled through the universe borne on one of two beams of light, descending into the Wizard civilization.
