Write a reviewhave read 527 chapters. its a good novel, ofcourse girls are the issue, like in every few chapters "taoist sound starts to play" .At the start i couldnt read this, like he chases every girl ,if there is mention of any girls then mc will marry them.but as you read you will get used to it and mc improves a bit. now for the good part :world background is solid.MC is op asf. random person pov is good .if you liken world development or clan development novel ,do read it. mc has 26 wife and hes not stopping ,lets see what will be his score
really liking it so far although this is a rather "casual" novel with somewhat fast pacing i actually dont really mind it also not really many romance moments which is a bit of a shame
I’m enjoying the novel so far. It’s entertaining enough to keep my interest. Currently only has 112 chapters with 30ish of those privilege chapters. Was disappointed that it has missed updates the last few days. I feel like more books are starting to miss their scheduled updates at the end of the month then mass release the withheld chapters when it resets. It’s why I no long fall for the paying for privilege.
Not really sure what all the hype is about, to be perfectly honest. MC makes dumb choices, becomes OP immediately, and somehow fumbles his way through everything with his absurdly unbalanced cheat. Really just feels like a chinsy dime-a-dozen story that is trying to mooch off of Reverend Insanity’s popularity.
I am currently at chapter 851, the story so far has decent world build character growth (MC) and some kingdom building elements. The story is pretty basic, however it is still entertaining and and enjoyable read. If you like the concept of gu and evolution of abilities, you should give it a read. There is only one major translation issue, that come with the demon clans. There are two different clans but they are called the same thing so it’s impossible to know which is being referenced. Once I a while there is some misgendering but that doesn’t really happen that often. I would say give this a try, it might be your cup of tea.
came here to vent to author ,,,the immortal sect took the ownership of the city but mc doesnt' need to pay for rent cause he can be a miner cause he got a clone ...so him paying rent is such a waste really....!!!!
At-the-standard for world building, nothing exceptional. Has Gu, much like reverend insanity, but they are not at the center of the martial arts in this, as from the first 20 or so chapters, no one but the MC seems to have any. Importantly, whatever the update schedule for this, you may be best served if you only read 1 chapter per day, or space them out as needed so you forget what's going on in the story, because if you don't forget, the chapters will remind you of everything each chapter. It is excessively repetitive, and frequently will pull things like "he beat cultivators above his cultivation. he was able to contend with those stonger than himself. this meant he could beat people he normally could not." If that^ reads poorly to you, I really can't say the style of this story will treat you much better. TL;DR Entertaining, headache inducing repetitiveness (personal experience)
426: 272 Ch. So far, the novel has significant flaws. If it could be summarized in simple steps, things have been as follows: 1.He finds a woman he wants to brainwash. 2.The place where he is undergoes a change (caused by the appearance of a treasure for some reason). 3.He decides to stay within the safety of his refuge. 4.By sheer luck, treasures he didn’t bother to seek come to his doorstep effortlessly. 5.He creates a new creature with insane abilities (something he doesn’t fully exploit). This cycle repeats again and again throughout the story so far. The Protagonist's Attitude He’s entirely afraid of getting involved in treasure hunts and fights. If fights do occur, the MC never fights directly but uses his clones instead (a typical case of fearing that stepping out of the sect will result in a stronger cultivator killing him for no reason). The protagonist mentions that in his past life, he was an otaku/hikikomori, which heavily influences his decision-making. I can’t help but compare him to Rudeus from Mushoku Tensei, a character with a similar background: someone with no purpose in society is transported to another world. But unlike our beloved bug-lover, Rudeus undergoes character development, stepping out of his comfort zone to face the new reality he finds himself in. #HateTurtles... Brainwashing In this story, there isn’t just one form of brainwashing; in my view, there are almost two sequential types. The first occurs when the MC triggers love in the love interests. The second comes with the “infection” of the protagonist’s unpleasant attitude, which erases the individual qualities of the love interests over time. The protagonist is like an amorphous blob that absorbs and destroys everything it touches. I’m not entirely against brainwashing. Using any “golden finger” to survive in a brutal new world is logical. However, the previously mentioned changes are what irritate me. Luck As mentioned in Step 4, the protagonist is excessively lucky to the point of exhaustion. He doesn’t have permanent enemies—just walking money bags delivered to his door. Those annoying characters? Remember the guy chasing the "beauty" or that relative (cough cough father) or other entity opposing the MC's union with said beauty? Well, if they exist, wait for their death because they’ll never harm the MC. It feels like the author simply eliminates them, so don’t expect plots or anything like that. Brief Mention of Positives The story seems to show glimpses of solid world-building. Kingdom-building elements are relatively well-executed. Fights are decent. Like sugar-free soda—more or less satisfying. Finally, other sources mention that the protagonist’s character changes slightly later on and that some positive aspects of the story improve. However, as the saying goes, “Seeing is believing,” said the blind man. I hope they keep releasing more chapters. It’s not the best novel I’ve read, but I’m curious about the new bugs and waifus that will appear. Sincerely, A man who enjoys harems.
It's just average. The story concept isn't original, I read a lot of similar stories with this setup. MC is a go with the flow guy, he's alright. The cheat and background and all that aren't explained, the author acts as if he explained it, but nothing is properly explained. Is it a bowl? a system? what abilities? how does MC know how to create gu? World building is non-existent. Characters are superficial. You won't see any depth in this story. Pacing is horrendous, it's so slow, the author pads words and fills a waste of space paragraphs. Repeated descriptions are a lot. Just felt like I read a lot but I gained nothing. If author focused on producing quality work instead of padding words and filling word count, I might have been interested in continuing to read even if it's a shallow story.
female characters can be made more diverse or unique.. . everyone fits the same templet.. but cant be blamed too much as they are all under a spell.. if u think them as slaves for the spell then makes sense... or else too much negligence on the part of author while writing them.. the powers and fantasy elements are good.. and overall a good causual binge read
A good story is one where one enjoys reading it, it does not matter if it is cliche or does not make much sense, after all having fun and finding joy in reading it is all that matters
I was hesitant about reading this book at first but I found that it is really good. what I like the most about this book is that it's characters are not without their own flaws and I find that to be a good thing.
Spring Autumn ? Cicada ? the author is playing with fire I see. LET ME BE THE WITNESS !!!!!!
