Their journey away from the sanctuary was fraught with tension. Alysia had a million questions, but Aragos's closed-off demeanor made it clear he wasn't ready to answer.
As they walked through the dense forest, Alysia couldn't shake the feeling they were being watched.
"Do you feel that?" she asked, glancing around nervously.
"Yes," Aragos said, his tone grim. "We're not alone."
Alysia's pulse quickened. "Is it them? The figure from before?"
"No," he said, his eyes scanning the trees. "Something else."
Before she could ask what, a low growl rumbled from the shadows. A pack of creatures emerged—hulking beasts with glowing red eyes and razor-sharp claws.
"Wargs," Aragos muttered, his fists glowing with golden light. "Stay behind me."
"I can fight!" Alysia protested, summoning her magic.
"This isn't the time for heroics," he snapped.
